Molecular interactions

Molecular Interactions consortium connects Department for Molecular Biology and Nanobiotechnology at National Institute of Chemistry Slovenia and Infrastructural Centre for Analysis of Molecular Interactions at the Department of Biology (Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana). Research activities are supported by the Slovenian Research Agency. The consortium is also a partner of the EU-funded project MOSBRI.

Consortium offers a variety of methods for a thorough characterisation of molecular interactions and for a development of analytical methods in food technology, biotechnology and protection of the environment. It also assists users with sharing knowledge and helping with experimental design, evaluation of results, ordering supplies, training of new users, etc.

Operational status

All instruments are currently operable.

Users are asked to wear facemasks, disinfect hands and follow general safety precautions as Covid-19 prevention. Detailed instructions regarding pandemic situation: here.

Access to the site is in standard regime. Prior performing experiments, instruments should be booked and sample request form (found under Sample requirements for the specified type of equipment) as well as some administrative forms (please see under Visiting the facility tab) should be filled in.
